Forever Bamboo™ all natural matting is harvested from carefully selected material derived from palm. We have carefully scrutinized the best earth friendly products to offer on our site, from our Lauhala, Bac Bac, Abaca, and Lampac matting. These products are considered eco-friendly because, they don't cause damage to the environment when they are produced or disposed. With an array of sizes to choose from, you can find the right size for any project. We also offer braids and ropes that enhance a beautiful tropical space as decoration.
Matting is created from weaving a variety of plant materials into different size panels. They are hand-woven with an assortment of eco-friendly and natural resources. These resources include the Hala tree leaves, palm leaves, and banana bark leaves. Each material has unique patterns and textures for a luxurious tropical resort look. With a large inventory, we are able to accommodate any size orders.
About Our Matting
All the leaves and barks used in our product are harvested from high quality trees. The leaves and bark are semi-dried then woven into intricate designs. The leaves are plaited when they are not completely dry so they are flexible enough to bend and weave without breaking. The Lauhala and Bac Bac matting are expertly plaited into a 1 inch checkered pattern. The plaited product is then dried completely to lock out deteriorating moisture. The matting then goes through numerous inspections to ensure that the matting passes our high quality standards.

Lauhala Matting
The Lauhala matting is plaited into 1 inch checkered patterns. It comes in a rich tan color that has a slight glossy luxurious sheen. The neutral color of the Lauhala matting will complement any indoor or outdoor space. Lauhala matting is made from palm leaf. The Bac Bac matting comes in a mix of gorgeous hues of coffee and wheat. The mix of colors gives this matting an earthy and organic feel. Bac Bac matting works great for lining tiki bars, walls, or on top of tables for tropical parties! Bac Bac matting gets the unique contrast of dark and light colors from the banana bark.
Lampac Matting
Lampac is made from blades of grass woven loosely together into a multi toned burlap-like sheet. The rich brown shade of Lampac matting is another gorgeous décor material in our matting series. Abaca cloth is crafted with airy burlap style cloth that can be placed anywhere as décor with ease. It comes in a blend of tan and yellow that will match any room.
The bamboo matting roll is a blond natural color woven using bamboo strips into a herringbone pattern. Bamboo is durable material and is a highly sustainable resource. Add bamboo matting to the walls or ceiling for a wonderful paradise environment.
Synthetic ViroSurface Matting
We also offer Synthetic Viro matting. The ViroSurface matting mimics the real thing with a longer lifespan. We offer many patterns and colors for our synthetic matting. Our synthetic matting comes in shades of natural green, brown, yellow, and tan. It comes in two different types of weaves as well: bandeau weave and the basket weave. The bandeau weave is a clean and simple 1 inch square weave while the basket weave is intricate with stunning patterns. All our synthetic matting look extremely realistic and works well indoors and outdoors since they are specially formulated to be durable and resistant, ensuring your new surfacing will not rot or mold.
Braids and Ropes
We also offer skillfully plaited braids and ropes that will accent any tropical space. Use our braids and ropes to tie down any thatch, wrap bamboo or presents or even use it as edging for plywood. We offer the Braided Sea-grass which comes in an attractive wheat color. We also sell the Bac Bac braid made from banana bark with rich dark and light colors and strong texture. The Rumba Braid is another great decorating element with alternating colors and strong texture. It comes in a unique hand woven diamond pattern that will accentuate any space. All the braids are flat so they are great for lining. We also offer two types of rope: Manila and Sennit. Manila rope is a two strand braided rope that is a great tropical accent. Sennit rope is a striking tan braided rope that is used as a decorative accent.
Easy Application
Application is easy. The matting can be either glued or stapled to any surface. All our matting is flexible and pliable and can be cut or trimmed without the risk of unraveling. The product can be used for both interior and exterior projects and treated with clear polyurethane or varnish for added sheen and durability.
