Environmentally Friendly
All the thatch we use for our umbrellas and hut structures are environmentally friendly and come from sustainable resources. Thatch is hand-made so there are no chemical run-offs or has much of a carbon footprint compared to the manufacture of traditional lumber or cloth umbrellas. Thatch is a natural material and the leaves are harvested while leaving the base tree alone. This means the tree does not need to be replanted, which saves a lot of resources in return. The soil does not get eroded and natural habitats are kept in balance which does not harm the delicate ecological system.
