Forever Bamboo’s commercial grade Mexican Palm Thatch Ridge Cap roll is specially designed to accent and cover roof ridge lines. This thatch is hand woven and tested for quality to ensure customer satisfaction. Premium palm leaves are selected to create this one of a kind product that looks best on tiki huts. Prior to shipping, we hand select and carefully package each cap roll. Our rolls measures 30 inches in width, 12 feet in length, and are connected by palm strands.
The size can also be altered to fit any space, cut the thatch with a sharp scissor or blade for best results. Installation is simple, purchase zip ties or large staples and attach to desired building structure. Thatch can also be installed in any indoor or outdoor setting to achieve an authentic tropical look in your home or business.
All Mexican thatch products are handwoven and made from natural materials. Many customers ask, how long will my Mexican palm thatch last? The answer unfortunately, is that it really depends on a number of factors, the main one being climate. In dry, moderate climates Mexican palm thatch can last approximately 3-5 years. In harsher climates that experience heavy rains, high humidity and drastic changes in climate it will be significantly shorter (approximately 1-2 years). Due to this and other external factors we cannot guarantee the life of these products.

DISCLAIMER: This product is not fire rated. We recommend applying a flame retardant spray for commercial use. Palm thatch may have some residues that you may want to rinse off to avoid staining floors or other areas that are affected by runoff. Rinse your thatch with a garden hose and allow to dry before installing your roof.
